Charles Wright has won the Pulitzer Prize and the PEN Translation Prize, and has been nominated for the National Book Award.  His recent books include Scar Tissue (2007), Buffalo Yoga (2004), Negative Blue (2000), Appalachia (1998), and Black Zodiac (1997).  He is Souder Family Professor of English at the University of Virginia
