Larissa Szporluk

Larissa Szporluk is the author of four books of poetry: Dark Sky Question, winner of the Barnard Poetry Prize, was published in 1998 by Beacon Press; Isolato, winner of the Iowa Poetry Prize, was published by the University of Iowa Press in 2000; The Wind, Master Cherry, the Wind, was published by Alice James Books in 2003; and most recently Embryos and Idiots was published in 2007 with Tupelo Press. She is a recipient of a 2003 National Endowment for the Arts grant and lives in Bowling Green, OH with her husband and two children, where she is an associate professor of English.
