(1911-1972) Paul Goodman is a novelist, poet, essayist and social critic.  He is most known for his book, Growing Up Absurd, a discussion of youth in America, but wrote on a wide variety of topics and issues.  Goodman is highly influential in Radicalism, Anarchism, and the American Left.
